Tuned Raptors v Parkes Hotel Football Club

Parkes Hotel FC took on Tuned Raptors, looking to go one step further than their last meeting and gain some valuable competition points. Parkes Hotel’s defence was strong and scrambled very well, shutting down many Raptors attacks. Parkes Hotel created some quality chances of their own, through some excellent runs by Kyle London, Calvin Joe and Tom Jackson. Parkes Hotel thought they scored when Kyle London took the ball around the keeper. This wasn’t to be as Kyle was flagged offside. The score was nil all at the break, making for an exciting second.

The second half belonged to the Raptors, who opened there account from a penalty, after a mistimed challenge from defender Malcolm Bruce. The raptors took the score to 2-0 through a breakaway goal after some confusion in midfield. Parkes Hotel did create a few chances off some set pieces and breaks which were foiled by the Raptors defence. Frustration was start to be creep into Parkes Hotel with some push and shove occurring on several stages and a booking for Andrew Manks. The Raptors put the game beyond doubt scoring 2 more goals, taking the score line to 4-0.

Mentions must go to Lucas Lees who won players player and Tommy Jackson who was awarded Player of the Match.
