Parkes Hotel Football Club v Railway Renegades
Parkes Hotel started strong creating many early chances, with striker Calvin Joe and midfielder Kyle London using there speed to their advantage. However, Renegades goal keeper Wayne Pearce stood strong making some spectacular saves. Renegades took the lead though a set piece, which saw the ball sail over the keeper Alex Boyd and curl nicely in the top corner. Parkes Hotel continued to create chances but couldn’t capitalise, and went 1 goal down into the break.
The second half was much like the first, with Parkes Hotel being the dominant team. The renegades defence scrambled well spoiling many of Parkes Hotels attacking raids. Kyle London thought he had equalized after a great strike off the volley, which unfortunately just missed. Parkes Hotel also had some chances off some set pieces, with Dan Gordon showing the quality of his left foot. However it wasn’t Parkes Hotels day, with Renegades taking the points.
A special thankyou must go to Emily Dean for taking the field, allowing us to have 11 players.
